My First Commission

Squirrel, this little black pug, passed away last week from cancer. Her owners and her best friend, Moose, the tan pug, were devastated. I completed this painting back in the beginning of August. I'm so glad I was able to memorialize her for her people before she passed. This was such a fun painting to do, and I loved looking at Squirrel and Moose's sweet, almost human faces and exploring how to paint fur for the first time.
